Marieli helps with all of our social media marketing efforts, writing, and all things short form video on instagram and tiktok.

Bee helps with all things design and layout including our infamous shows to know list, as well as social posts, merch designs, and printed assets.

Photo and Admin Intern
Kyle helps with all things photography including merch photos, band photos and other digital assets. He also assists with day to day operations including accounting and inventory.
How it started...
...and how it is going.
We’re Juli and Doug. We met playing in the band Snack’d Out after landing in Champaign, IL—like a lot of folks—because our partners got jobs at UIUC. What we didn’t expect was to find a deep, generous music community that felt like home right away.
As we got to know more people—through Doug’s restaurant/venue The Space, Juli’s cafe-hopping, and our band’s tiny but mighty following—we realized we wanted to give something back. That’s how Pretzle Records started: as a way to lift up the artists who make this area (and the greater Midwest) feel like something special.
We know how hard it is to be a musician and run a band. We’re here to help with the messy parts, so artists can focus on making great music. Pretzle is about doing it together—DIY, but not alone.
